This is a 12-week face-to-face, weekly Zoom meeting for a small group of music composers to focus on specific issues personal to each member and facilitate composition portfolio growth and success.
Also included are three extra private consulting sessions with Eric Copeland about your compositions.
These Mastermind classes only can accommodate about 6-8 composers, so there are limited seats in each class.
What We’ll Cover
To some extent this will be focused on the needs of the group, but these tenets will be the focus on our weekly Mastermind and your private consulting meetings.
- Catalog – I find most composers are not ready to succeed due to a catalog that is small, or lacking in high quality music. One of our main goals specific to the Hello Composers! Mastermind is to work with each composer to not only increase the amount of songs in their catalog, but to make sure the quality improves as well.
- Compositional Focus – This may sound funny, but most composers are not always sure where to put their focus regarding genre, style, and for what part of the music business they want to find success. So we will tackle this weekly, working on each composer’s own goals and helping to uncover your best musical path.
- Feedback – If there was ever anything a composer needed, especially if you are mostly working alone, is feedback about your music. Eric and the rest of the Mastermind group will offer constructive, honest feedback on your compositions and arrangements. We will also talk about the production quality for the music use you have in mind for the song. This is likely the most important part of the Mastermind and all our the coaching we do on our channels.
Many other things we focus on each week may be dictated by the composers in the group, what is happening in the world of music at the time, and other factors dependent on the Mastermind members and careers.
